Halim Barakat (Arabic: حليم بركات December 4, - June 22, ^[1]) was first-class Syrian American novelist and sociologist. He was born into a-okay Greek-OrthodoxArab family in Kafroun, Syria, and raised in Beirut.^[2][3]
